it is proposed that the film will be of about 2-2.5 minutes duration and that it will be filmed at Addison Saxby's House as it, one, it is close to the church so transporting equipment won't be too difficult. Two, the location has a modern feel to it which is what we are going for. Three, the location is relatively close to all of us so transport to get his house won't be hard. Due to its relative proximity, we are able to travel to the location straight after school and begin filming.
This film will include the following thriller conventions:
_Canted angles, this gives an unsteady feeling, showing that there is something not right in the scene and causes the audience to feel unsafe. This can be used for dramatic effect and helps portray unease, disorientation, frantic or desperate action, intoxication, madness. in our case, it's used to show a not so good life. in our film we are going to use it to show the contrast between the main character's old life and his new, more dangerous and tedious, life.

_Contrast, contrast helps convey the aspects of a particular idea or attitude. in our film we are going to use it to show how bad his life is now after he started his new job. we are trying to convey that he is an ordinary man who became an assassin, so we intend to put aspects of his old life within his new life. a newspaper will be replaced by a classified file and his cup of coffee will be replaced with alcohol.

Dim lighting will be used to help conceal information from the audience, creating a sense of danger of the unknown as the audience is put into the same situation as the main character. it additionally helps to portray a darker more sinister side to a character as the darkness suggests that he is hiding something, this convention pair well with the use of weapons and other dangerous utilities. helping to flesh out Alexander, the main character, more.
we haven't encountered any problems as of yet, but something we should be looking out for is that we have multiple batteries and that nothing but the actors and props get into the shot. we found that a lot of the shots had the boom or the shadow of the boom in them or we can see other moving objects in the background these were difficult to remove in some cases I had to crop the footage to hide them. I feel that this film is very realistic as well only need two actors and then the rest will just be shot set up to show a contrast between the two lifestyles. the most difficult parts in filming this would be
Beginning:
Alexander wakes up in a bright bedroom that clean and has sun flooding into it. e the walks down a corridor past a picture frame towards the kitchen. There is a focus on the picture frame showing Alexander with another male man who seems to have a good relationship as they are hugging. he then prepares his breakfast and sits down and starts texting his brother about a trip they are about to go on.
Middle:
Alexander hear an alarm going off in his head and he is confused about it until he wakes up again but this time the room darkly lit and very messy. rubbish is scattered all over the floor and there. Alexander swats the alarm clock off the bedside table and sluggishly gets up. he traipses down the hall and this time there is no picture of his brother. when he is preparing his breakfast instead of lovely golden brown toast it's burnt and old. and instead of steaming coffee he pours beer.
End:
Alexander receives a text saying that there is a file at his door and that he must complete the contract to get paid 100,000 dollars, he goes slowly to the door and picks p that file and sees that his brother is the target and he gets furious and texts the people back saying that he won't kill his brother. we cut to shot of a figure walking towards his house. we cut back to the conversation and the man says that his brother is also after him so if he doesn't kill him he'll get killed. all of a sudden there's a knock at the door.
