LucasFilms.
//
Lucas film was created by a filmmaker called George Lucas in 1971.
this company produced all the star wars franchise films and
many other films. it is now currently owned by Disney. who bought it in 2012.
Lucasfilm first logo was a simple green bold text on top of
a black background.this is because the technology that was available back then
was very minimal and so many companies had very simple logos. the opening
sequence of a film wasn't as important to people as the actual film and so most
producers made it short for people so that they wouldn't get bored. The logo
Then upgraded and became green lettering in a skinny font on a black background.
The Green Lettering on a black background symbolises the New
life and beginnings of the company that was a merger of multiple film
companies. the bold lettering was used so that it would be easily visible by
the audience who sat a good distance from the screen at the time.

The logo was then changed to...
//
this font became the frame for all of Lucasfilms logos. The font of this logo is commanding and makes it easily distinguishable from any other logo as the letters are clear they added sparkles to this logo to symbolises that this brand is special and precious.The logo changed one more time before they settled on their current logo the yellow gives a feeling of warmth and brightness this. this was only used for a while. The colour gold gives it a sense worth because gold is expensive subconsciously making the audience think that Lucasfilm is a High-quality production studio.
Fox was founded in 1915 and has been running since. their first logo was just their name in white lettering on top of a black background. Later on, Emil Kosa jr painted the first design idea of bold 3D lettering with spotlight shinning around it. the bold lettering gives the logo a feeling of strength and solidity. this was coupled with the sue if a bright gold like colour which gives a sense of richness to the logo.
this made the company appear more professional and of a higher quality. More and more details were added with new artists and all of them used different backgrounds and slightly different layouts. But one that that they Kept the same where the spotlights.
spotlights are used to show or focus on something that is important, the spotlights in the logo are used similarly and highlight that the company is something relevant and important. they also draw attention to the logo as they wave all over the screen. Fanfare, or the trumpets and drums that play in the background, are similar to those that introduce a kings arrival. so these are suggesting that Fox is a Kingly brand and that it has high standards.
when the logo became animated to move and the lettering was done with CGI the placement of the camera above the logo also draws our attention towards it. There is a point when the logo is completely covered by a spotlight in the foreground this causes the audience to refocus their view multiple times meaning that the image of the logo becomes ingrained into the viewer's heads.
